Jesus of Nazareth was a man obsessed with helping the masses, healing the sick and feeding the hungry. But what happens when the Son of God becomes so fixated on helping the entire world that he begins to forget about the consequences it has on those nearest him, and ultimately himself? His closest friend and strongest ally Judas Iscariot, dealing with a slew of personal demons, witnesses the rise of his friend and the path of chaos unfolding around him, leading to a heartbreaking decision which would change the course of history forever.

Starring ARIA Award Winner and The X Factor-Australia Season 2 Winner, Altiyan Childs as Jesus; and The Voice Australia Grand Finalist, Frank Lakoudis as Judas, this modern interpretation of the legendary rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice will share with audiences a thrilling look into the final week of Jesus’ life. With Direction by Thomas Armstrong-Robley, Musical Direction by Lucas D. Lynch and Choreography by Maureen Bowra; and set to a score featuring hits such as Heaven On Their Minds, I Don’t Know How To Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar; this amazingly talented cast of 30 from across Australia will be accompanied by an 11 piece band. If you see one show this year – let it be this!
