Jesus of Nazareth was a man obsessed with helping the masses, healing the sick and feeding the hungry. But what happens when the Son of God becomes so fixated on helping the entire world that he begins to forget about the consequences it has on those nearest him, and ultimately himself? His closest friend and strongest ally Judas Iscariot, dealing with a slew of personal demons, witnesses the rise of his friend and the path of chaos unfolding around him, leading to a heartbreaking decision which would change the course of history forever.

Tracey knows what it takes to build a business from the ground up. As a Certified Financial Planner® and successful business person, she has proven time and again that she understands the mechanics behind what makes a successful venture. She has now extended this expertise into the world of production, and is delighted to be able to mesh her business prowess with her passion for music and musical theatre. Tracey is committed to bringing the wonderful art form that is musical theatre, to as many people as she can.
PAUL LYNCH – Creative Producer
Paul knows music… his musical career dates back to the early 80’s, and extends right through to the current day. Having been a professional musician with bands such as Scanners, Road-Crew, Playground, Varkar, Flying Colours, Big Dreamer and Intuition; Paul is a creative drummer who writes, designs and has promoted many of these bands. Paul has supported some of Australia’s greatest bands and artists, including Australian Crawl, Dragon, Real Life, Renee Geyer, Radiators, ‘Ol 55, Machinations and Col Elliot. Turning his hand to musical theatre in 2015, he was an integral part of a 6 piece, driving rock band, playing drums in the successful production of Grease – The Musical. Paul is dedicated to ensuring each show is tight. His creativity and attention to detail leave no stone unturned.
LUCAS D. LYNCH – Musical Director
Classically trained at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Lucas is an accomplished pianist and musical director. He is an experienced repetiteur for Queensland Ballet, QUT Ballet and the Queensland Dance School of Excellence; and has musically directed many productions, including PIRATES OF PENZANCE, GREASE, WIZARD OF OZ and JESUS CHRIST SUPER STAR. Lucas’ 2016 projects include musical direction for INTO THE WOODS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LITTLE MERMAID AND MARY POPPINS. He recently returned from the USA, where he was awarded for his musical direction expertise at the 2016 i-Theatrics Junior Theatre Festival. Lucas is currently studying his Masters in Conducting at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
Experienced in stage shows, corporate entertainment, radio, film and in a variety of musical arts, Thomas bring with him a wealth of knowledge and a passion for musical theatre. He has enjoyed leading roles in musical productions such as THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Phantom/Raoul), BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS (Melvin P. Thorpe), THE SECRET GARDEN (Archibald Craven), THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE (Pirate King) and RENT (Roger Davis).

Thomas has performed at, and hosted, various events, including the Queensland Tourism Awards, Griffith Alumni Awards, Cancer Council Relay for Life, Redcliffe Festival, Burpengary Christmas Spectacular, Sails Festival, Christmas By The Sea, Jetty Fiesta, Scarborough Sounds and the Queensland MEA Awards.

Thomas is an acclaimed acting coach and director with directorial credits including INTO THE WOODS, CINDERELLA, GREASE, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, THE WIZARD OF OZ and LIKE A METAPHOR, which earned more than a dozen awards for it’s performances on the 2015 South East Queensland Drama Festival circuit. Recently, Thomas and his cast toured to the USA, where they performed at the 2016 i-Theatrics Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. As the sole Australian representatives at that festival, they earned three major awards for their performances.

Formally trained in musical theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Thomas is currently rehearsing for an east coast tour of ELEGIES FOR ANGELS, PUNKS & RAGING QUEENS. He is also currently directing 3 plays for the 2016 Festival Circuit, and working as writer/creative director for Cirque De La Opera which is set to premier in July of 2016 at Kings Beach, Sunshine Coast in association with Vavachi Entertainment.

In 2015, Thomas developed and launched WORLD ON A STRING-LIVE TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL BUBLE, which is building a reputation in corporate entertainment throughout Australia. He is an avid playwright with successful seasons of his written and devised shows/concerts, including MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, VALENTINES WITH THE KING OF SWING and LOVE, LOSS & LUXURY.

MAUREEN BOWRA – Choreographer
Brisbane based Maureen is a musical theatre performer and maker who is known for creating shows that are professional and slick, with a focus on creative storytelling and fostering community. She graduated from Harvest Rain Theatre Company’s musical theatre internship in 2009 and has performed in many of their productions at QPAC, including JESUS CHRIST SUPER STAR, HAIRSPRAY, GUYS AND DOLLS, OKLAHOMA!, SPAMALOT AND GREASE. In these shows, Maureen worked alongside industry talents such as John English, Simon Gallagher, Luke Kennedy, Ian Stenlake, Daryl Somers, Frank Woodley and Julie Anthony. Maureen formed part of the choreography team for Harvest Rain’s arena spectacular of CATS, starring Marina Prior. Other directorial/choreographic credits include LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Redcliffe Musical Theatre), HAIRSPRAY (Harvest Rain Theatre Company and Prima), JESUS CHRIST SUPER STAR (Prima), GREASE (The Show Co.) and the Brisbane community theatre smash hit premier of LEGALLY BLONDE (Prima). Maureen has toured Queensland extensively with many children’s theatre shows for Queensland Arts Council, Perform Educational Musicals and Camp Quality. Currently, Maureen is Associate Director/Assistant Choreographer for Harvest Rain’s HAIRSPRAY: THE BIG, FAT ARENA SPECTACULAR, touring nationally.
JENNY USHER – Assistant Choreographer
Jenny Usher is the Director, Producer and Choreographer of Candy Shop Show Australia. She holds a Bachelor in Creative Industries (Dance) from Queensland University of Technology & University of Leeds (UK), Cert. IV in Musical Theatre & Commercial Dance (Davidia Lind Dance Centre) and her Comprehensive Teacher Training in Pilates (Body Arts and Science International).

Candy Shop Show was born in London in 2009 and transferred to Australia in 2010. As the driving force behind all facets of the business Jenny conducts workshops, teaches private dance lessons and regularly performs at all types of events in Queensland. Jenny is also the sole producer of original theatrical dance cabaret works and Candy Shop Show have been part of the Anywhere Festival 2015 & 2016 (Brisbane & Mackay-Isaac) and the London and Australian Burlesque Festivals.

Her choreography credits outside of Candy Shop Show include The Boy From Oz (2013), Chicago (2012) and The Producers (2011 – assistant Choreographer & Dance Captain). She has performed in Guys & Dolls (2011), Miss Saigon (2010 – Dance Captain), Thoroughly Modern Millie (2009 – UK), The Fix (2008 – UK), I Heart Centre Stage – a Cabaret Variety Show (2007 – UK) and Crazy For You (2006 – UK) as well as various commercial and corporate performances in Nottingham, Leeds and London. She was also involved in the re-creation of the Austin Powers intro scene for the Edinburgh Film and TV Festival (2007). In her earlier years, Jenny performed for Australian Corporate Entertainment companies such as IDStudio Productions and RD Production Company in various venues around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

SHARI HALL – Stage Manager
Originally from the USA, Shari has called the Sunshine Coast home since 2004. While educated at Yale University and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons to become an Anaesthetist, Dr. Shari’s passion has always been on the musical theatre stage. From the age of 8, Shari has performed and shared her love of music with audiences from New York to Noosa, her favourite roles being Rizzo (Grease), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Diana Morales (A Chorus Line), Anita (West Side Story), and Marta (Company), just to name a few. Queensland featured appearances include Dolly in Annie Get Your Gun with the Cairns Choral Society, and Jerry’s Girls at the Noosa Arts Theatre. This time around, Mamma Shaz is delighted to step behind the scenes as the Stage Manager for the GTP premiere production.

Shari is a singer/songwriter, with three CD’s produced and recorded in Nashville and Sydney (Hillsong studios). Four singles released from her latest album, “Three” have appeared in the top 30 on the Today’s Christian Music Chart. She is a regular contributing author for Matters Magazine on the Sunshine Coast and the internationally acclaimed Chicken Soup for the Soul series, a real estate agent with Online Property Sales, and can often been seen as the emcee for many local charity events. Most importantly, Shari is the mother of two amazing children who also love the arts!

MONIQUE GAVIOLI – Costume Design
Monique is a final year Queensland University of Technology student completing a dual degree in Business (Management) and Creative Industries (Fashion). Her background is predominately fashion, however she also has experience in entertainment management. This is her second costume role and first as the department head combining her love of theatre with fashion knowledge.
